Just a quick update…

The studios have been cranking . The “lounge” is very busy with album release and press events, photo shoots, video shoots and more. Our Neve and SSL rooms have had bands tracking, choir, violin, vocals, and Hammond B-3 od’s ….the whole spectrum of recording and mixing being done. February happenings

Daddys House Studios has been busy with an assortment of writing, tracking, and mix sessions. Our versatile “lounge” space is being utilized for video shoots, photo shoots, interviews, and a variety of intimate industry release and listening events. The Neve and SSL rooms have had some great sessions with A list and independent artists tracking and mixing all styles of music. Our writers room is also busy with budget oriented label and independent projects. Whether it’s blocking out time to write for you next project, tracking, mixing, or hosting your next event we hope you will consider Daddys House as your facility for any and all you recording and mixing needs!

January off to a great start

Daddys House Recording Studio has had a busy January with some great projects. We hate name dropping BUT some of the artists we have had the pleasure of working with so far this year are Wyclef, French Montana, Wale, Uncle Murda, Waka Flocka, Juelz Santana and many more! We have had Jazz showcases, Gospel bands tracking, video shoots, album release listening sessions, and of course many writing, tracking and mixing sessions. DHRS has a long history of churning out the hits for Bad Boy Records and other labels……BUT many other artists and labels are now calling it home. We now also offer our legendary mix service where you can have your tracks, songs, EP’s, LP’s, and mix tapes polished by the same engineers mixing many of the hits you’re listening too on the radio each day. Happenings

It has been a while since we updated everyone on studio news. The studio has had some great sessions over the past couple of months with a host of artists and musical genres. Some but not all of the artists we have had working at Daddys House have been Wyclef, Jose Feliciano, Neyo, Juelz Santana, French Montana, Machine Gun Kelly, Cassie, Red Cafe, DJ Cassidy, Megan Nicole, Wale and many more! We have recorded live drums, guitar, bass, horns, percussion, vocals, Ukelele, and of course had a number of mixes on both our SSL G Series console and Neve VR 60 board. We have also hosted a number of listening and press events as well as a select number of parties. As the year winds down we hope you’ll consider us for any and all your recording and mix needs.

Update!

Engineer Steve Dickey making his mark

Engineer Steve Dickey is quickly climbing the ranks of engineers on the “go to” list for numerous artists. Steve has worked with a long list of talent over the years; Gloria Estefan, DJ Khaled, Jay Z, and Diddy Dirty $ to name a few. You would be hard pressed to not hear Steve’s work these days when flipping through the radio or TV having more recently been working with French Montana, Red Cafe, Machine Gun Kelly, Fabolous, Cassie, Chris Brown and more. Whether you are tracking your next song, performing on the today show, or mixing your next mixtape, album or single, Steve is a great choice.

April update

Daddys House Recording Studios has been busy with an assortment of great projects. We have been tracking and mixing for Bad Boy artists Machine Gun Kelly, Red Cafe, French Montana, Los, and Cassie. We are also very much open to the public and have had many other sessions for some very talented artists recently. Whether tracking lead vocals, backgrounds, a full band, horn section, choir, shooting an interview, posting your music for video, or having a press gathering to announce the release of your music…..we hope you will consider us for any and all your studio needs!

Been a while…..

…since we posted an update. Daddys House has had some great sessions with some great music over the past month. In our Neve and SSL rooms we have had a diverse variety of music tracking, mixing, video shoots, interviews, editing and listening sessions. We now offer our virtual mix service for those who may not need to rent the room and attend the session, but want a proven professional to mix their project and take it to the “next level”. Our staff engineers Steve Dickey and Matt Testa have been busy mixing projects for MGK, Cassie, Red Cafe, Fabolous, and many more artists. The “lounge” has has hosted events for lp release parties and other events….its a great affordable space. With all this going on we are continuing with our Neve VR refurbishing, adding other equipment and software, and improving our operations….all in an effort to make your session a creative, productive and affordable experience. Updates…

Daddys House has been busy since our last update. New Bad Boy artist Los has been in working on his upcoming LP. MGK mixed his new single “Half Naked” with in house mix maestro Steve “Rockstar” Dickey. Hit producer Seven Aurelious has been in producing a new slew of hits for an upcoming artist. Red Cafe, French Montana, Cassie, and other BB artists are frequent flyers as always. We also have had a great bunch of new and upcoming indie artists and producers making us their new home. That in combination with live tracking, video shoots, listening sessions, release parties in our event space, and voice over work have made for a great month so far. We’ve been refurbishing our Neve and SSL consoles, adding gear to our already large collection, making improvements to the facility,and tightening up our operations. Daddys House is open to the public! The studio is undergoing a facelift and numerous operational and infrastructure improvements. We are moving forward, but in the meantime…..Our Neve VR room is perfect for tracking and mixing with a spacious live room, comfortable lounge, and a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Daddys House Recording Studios has been around since the early 90′s. As many of you may know it has been the home too many great recordings. Numerous Billboard charting, Gold, and Multi Platinum albums were recorded and mixed in our rooms. What many of you may not have known is that the studio is open to the pubic for bookings. The studio is undergoing a renovation. Updates to the gear, an aesthetic face lift, and improvements that will make Daddys House THE STUDIO for all your recording and mixing needs are currently taking place. The facility has both SSL and Neve consoles, 2″ analog, robust protools systems with a great plug in collection, as well as plenty of analog and digital outboard gear to choose from. We have the BEST writers room in NY with Flat Screen TV and a Pool table when you want to relax between making hits! So please consider us when choosing which facility to use when in New York. We promise to make your stay a productive and comfortable one.
